The new Weddings exhibition showcases a number of wedding outfits from the Museum’s collection, some shown alongside photographs of the special day when they were worn, together with a selection of memorabilia and ephemera telling the stories of how some of our best-loved wedding customs have evolved over the centuries – everything from the custom of ‘something borrowed…’ to the traditional wedding cake.
Although entry to the museum is free, donations are welcomed.
